Sam’s journey to founding Somos Cleaning Service is rooted in a simple but powerful goal: to deliver exceptional service while making a meaningful impact. After graduating from Rutgers, Sam led an eight-year career with ALDI, honing his expertise in operations and leadership.

Rising to the role of Senior Operations Manager, he represented ALDI USA, in the United Kingdom for two years, leading critical projects before joining the company’s National Operations Committee in Ohio. These roles gave him hands-on experience managing high-volume operations across New Jersey and New York, building strong teams, and learning what true leadership looks like.

Known for blending operational excellence with a people-first approach, Sam earned a reputation for driving success while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Though he thrived in the corporate world, he felt a growing pull to create something of his own—a business that combined his professional skills with his passion for service.

Recognizing an opportunity to raise the standard in the cleaning industry, Sam founded Somos Cleaning Service: an organic cleaning company delivering house, apartment, and commercial cleaning services across Hudson County and New York City.

Under Sam’s hands-on leadership, Somos has grown rapidly, reliably serving more than 1,000 clients in its first twelve months. Today, Somos is trusted for everything from deep cleaning, organic home cleaning, to flexible office cleaning and commercial cleaning services tailored to each client’s needs. Whether helping busy families or local businesses, Somos is known for combining quality, reliability, and a personal touch.

Through the SOMOS Charity Initiative, the company also gives back—donating a portion of proceeds to fund sports equipment and community projects for children in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
