No, you do not. While you are certainly welcome to be home, most of our clients provide us with a secure entry method, such as a lockbox code, a spare key left in a secure location, or entry instructions for a smart lock. We simply need to ensure our cleaning team has clear and secure access to your home at the scheduled time.
Yes, Somos supplies all the necessary cleaning equipment and professional-grade supplies for your service. You do not need to provide anything.
Somos is committed to a healthy home environment, which is why we primarily use 100% organic, non-toxic cleaning products. These professional-grade products are effective while being safe for children, pets, and individuals with sensitivities.
However, we understand that certain cleaning challenges or client preferences may require stronger agents. If necessary, or if you prefer a different solution, we can use specific products like bleach or other conventional cleaning products upon your request. Just let us know your preferences when you book your service!
Most often, we send a highly trained, solo cleaner to service your home.
For very large homes or deep cleans that we anticipate will require more than four hours to complete, we may dispatch a team of two to ensure the work is done efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe.
We know that consistency is key! We will make every effort to always send the same cleaner or cleaning team to your house for every recurring appointment. This helps ensure quality, efficiency, and familiarity with your specific home and preferences.
Somos is available for home cleaning appointments Monday through Saturday.
We schedule our cleanings starting in the morning, with the last available appointment starting at 3:00 PM each day. This ensures our cleaners have adequate time to complete their service before the end of the workday.
To ensure our team can focus entirely on cleaning and deliver the best results, we ask that you complete a few quick preparation steps:
Tidy Up/Declutter: Please clear floors, countertops, and other flat surfaces of personal items, dirty dishes, clothing, and excessive clutter. This allows our cleaners immediate access to the areas that need to be cleaned.
Secure Valuables: Put away any fragile, valuable, or sentimental items that you do not want accidentally disturbed.
Manage Pets: For the safety and comfort of your pets and our cleaning crew, please secure all pets in a safe and separate area of the home for the duration of the service.
Access: Ensure we have clear, secure access to your home at the scheduled arrival time
For your convenience and security, Somos accepts payments electronically. You can pay for your service using two primary methods:
Credit Card (CC): We accept all major credit cards.
ACH Transfer (Bank Transfer): You can securely pay directly from your bank account.
Payment is typically processed after your cleaning service is complete. Details on setting up your preferred payment method will be provided upon booking.
